What is it for? What is its function?

After confirming the needs, we will have a concept, what kind of lamp will meet them, whatever bulb, tube, panel, strips, or even if there is no name, and you give it. At this step, the customer should pay for the case, XY lighting will submit a proposal in 15-30days including all details. Such as structure drawing, sketch, product visualization and specification.Every detail for industrial design is the most important, not only we design its impressive appearance, the structure, the function, the installation, but also the cost and market.
For a lighting product, electrical, optical and thermal, besides structure which we mention aboveare the main parts. Structure contains the heatsink material, base type, IP grade, installation ways and package; Electrical contains PCBA circuit, Power dissipation, intelligent control, surge and insulation protection and other function like dimmable plan; Optical contains LEDs type, lumen, CCT, CIR and lens degree; thermal is the most important to guaranty the product, the driver, power supply and controller to work well, make the product has a long life span. All of them are solved at this step.
The product visualization can let you see its appearance from your imagination. We offer you prototype by hand made or 3D printing which you can touch it, test it. The prototype is the first step to verify the feasibility of the product, is to find out the defects of the design deficiencies. Then the defects can be improved. Generally we will make 3-5 samples, 2 of them will be sent to the customer, we keep the left ones. Therefore, we both can evaluate from different perspectives in order to improve it.
After con rming the above ones, we will start to make molding for the parts of the products.
XY lighting will give the customer a list of the charges. And the molding fees will be paid by
customer. It will be written in the agreement that if the order quantity reach the agreed amount,
the payment will be return back to the customer. But whatever the payment goes, XY lighting keep
the molding ownership. For the products patent, subject to the contract.
Before mass production, we will prepare the Production Process Flow, train the operator for every detail. And then produce the trial order from the customer, at last a trial production report will be made and verify the process flow. XY lighting will focus on the safety, availability, reliability, consistency of the products. To make sure the QA system from IQC, IPQC, QA to make sure every product is the good. There will be a rejection rate after the trial production, and our next target is to control it in mass production.

In the market of LED light industry, there are lots of company claim they can supply OEM service, some of them claim OEM and ODM service. Generally in China, most factory can do OEM service, but for ODM service, they don’t have the ability to meet the requirement from the customers.

As the market developing, the overseas customer need fast response, good understanding of the idea, excellent concept design, and then the idea can become a real product. For light ODM, it’s the combination of structure, optical, heat, electronic, software, and application performance. It can prove the supplier’s resource integration capability. It can be used in local lighting, decoration lighting, light box, letter channel, but you can find the price from 0.5usd to 5usd each meter, how is the difference?
